I love: awesome flowers

I had so much fun planning the floral decor for this 24 person seating table at Oatlands Plantation. Barbara from Growing Wild made my vision of low arrangements of green and white flowers come alive!

I love: a calla lilly bouquet

I am not usually a fan of bouquets made with regular calla lilies. But this bride's bouquet, made by Rance Goff, was stunning. The addition of the greenery and Dusty Miller really brought this bouquet to life. Thanks to Ralph Alswang for the photos, and The Hay-Adams for the great view!

I love: a hot pink bouquet

I positively adore this bridesmaid bouquet from Growing Wild Floral Design. It is comprised of roses, calla lillies and coxcomb, all hot pink. A little greenery on the edge and it's perfection. Thanks to Kurstin Roe for the photo!

Obsessed: Tulips

Continuing a floral theme this week, my other favorite flower is the tulip. I love all colors and versions of this flower. Those pictured are parrot tulips, which are especially sexy. If I had a garden, and any semblance of a green thumb, I would plant tulips.

Obsessed: Forsythia

One of my favorite flowers is the forsythia bush. They always seem to bloom in the very early Spring, so not only are they a beautiful and vibrant color in a generally gray landscape, but they also a signal that warmer weather is approaching soon. I'd really love to do a wedding with forsythia.
